The Importance of Giving

We look back with gratitude on all the work the foundation has been able to carry out, with the support of our sponsors and communities.

The Bupilo foundation, through its various community projects which include Basizana and Kutulo have made good progress throughout the year in conducting activities which continue to empower marginalised communities and assist them to achieve self reliance.

The foundation would not be able to conduct the work it does if it weren’t for the support it receives through giving. The donations made by various individuals and organisations provide the necessary resources required to reach those in need and develop systems which allow them to increase their ability to generate sustainable incomes, educate marginalised groups of people such as young girls and thus, improve standards of living of people in rural Zambia.

The famous American poet Maya Angelou once said, “I have found that among other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.
